Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of HearThai Academy, operated by HearGlobal LLC, a New Mexico (USA) limited liability company with its registered address at 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, STE N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA ("we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 (or have parental consent where permitted) to purchase.

2. The service

HearThai Academy is a web-based Thai-language learning portal. It is a separate product from the "HearThai" mobile app; a purchase here grants access to this web portal only and does not unlock the mobile app, or vice-versa.

Any of our services that interact with YouTube content are additionally governed by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).

3. Free access & pricing

New accounts can start exploring for free with no payment card required.
The free preview lets you sample each area of the app; once you've used up a preview, some audio becomes unavailable until you unlock full access.
When you choose to unlock lifetime access, it is a one-time ฿3,999 — a single payment, not a subscription, with no recurring or renewal charges. A payment card is only needed at that point.
There is no automatic charge. You are only ever charged if you deliberately choose to purchase.
"Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the service.
Prices are in Thai Baht (THB); payment is processed by Stripe and may be charged/converted by your card issuer.

4. Your account

You sign in with your email and password (with an emailed reset link if you forget it). Keep your password and email secure. Your account is for you alone — don't share logins.

5. Acceptable use

The content and audio are licensed to you for personal learning. You may not: scrape, bulk-download, copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share the content or audio; circumvent access controls; or use automated tools to harvest the library. Violations may result in suspension without refund.

6. Intellectual property

All content, audio, and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them within the service.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service anytime and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
